The 3.08-inch clip point blade is ground from 154CM steel—a high-carbon stainless that holds an edge through rope, cardboard, and daily cutting tasks without constant trips to the stone. The geometry favors controlled slicing over brute chopping, so you get precision when you need to notch tent stakes or trim webbing clean.

A crossbar lock runs the width of the handle, paired with a ball-roll bar that smooths out the thumb action and works equally well for left or right hand. The lock engages positively and releases without wrist gymnastics, even when you're wearing gloves or working one-handed.

The sandwich construction leaves the scales mechanically independent from the frame, so you can pull one side, swap in a different material or color, and reinstall it with a T8 driver. G10 scales bring directional texture that bites when your hands are wet or greasy. Micarta scales start smooth and develop grip and character as the linen layers wear in. Both attach without adhesive or press-fit gambles.

The pivot screw comes out on its own, so you can clean, lube, or tighten the action without disturbing the crossbar or the rest of the assembly. The pocket clip reverses for tip-up or tip-down carry and works with wire or stainless steel clip hardware, all secured with T8 fasteners on the handle and T6 on the clip plate.
