Why it's on GiftsFeed
Durable 20L daypack engineered for repair and full recyclability
Most daypacks claim durability but use fabrics and foam that degrade in a couple of years, then end up in the trash. This one uses tear-resistant recycled fabric and air-cushioned straps that don't compress, so it stays functional longer. More importantly, it's built to disassemble: when it does wear out, you send it back and every piece gets recycled instead of landfilled. That matters if you want gear that performs well *and* closes the loop, not just one or the other.

The details
This twenty-liter pack addresses two problems most daypacks ignore: they wear out faster than they should, and when they do, they go straight to the landfill. The Vantage is built differently. It uses recycled PET fabric woven to resist tearing twice as well as typical pack material, and every component—from zippers to webbing—is designed to come apart for full recycling when the pack finally wears out.
The shoulder straps and back panel replace foam with a cushioning structure that is ninety-seven percent air. That means no compression over time, no trapped heat, and no chemical off-gassing. The material wicks moisture and stays breathable even when you're carrying a full load in warm weather. You feel the difference on your back within the first few blocks.
Water-resistant fabric sheds light rain and splashes without needing a separate cover. The main compartment opens wide for easy packing, and internal organization keeps smaller items from disappearing into the bottom. Adjustable straps let you dial in the fit whether you're wearing a T-shirt or a winter jacket.
When the pack eventually reaches the end of its usable life, you send it back to NEMO. They disassemble it and route every piece to the appropriate recycling stream. Nothing ends up in a landfill. It's a closed-loop system that treats durability and end-of-life planning as equally important parts of the design.

Questions
- How does the take-back recycling program work?
- When the pack reaches the end of its usable life, you send it back to NEMO. They disassemble it and route every component—fabric, zippers, webbing, and cushioning—to the appropriate recycling stream so nothing goes to a landfill. The program is included with your purchase.
- Does the air-structure cushioning stay supportive over time?
- Yes. Unlike foam that compresses and loses cushioning, the CCubed air structure maintains its shape and support throughout the life of the pack. It also wicks moisture and stays cooler against your back than traditional foam padding.
- Is this water-resistant enough for rain?
- The CERO fabric has one-and-a-half times the water resistance of typical daypack material, so it handles light rain and splashes without a rain cover. In heavy downpours you may want additional protection for electronics or other moisture-sensitive items.
- Will this fit a laptop or tablet?
- The twenty-liter main compartment can accommodate a laptop or tablet, though the pack does not include a dedicated padded sleeve. You may want to use a separate sleeve if you're carrying a device regularly.
