Designer Alberto Essesi created the bookends to hold chocolate the way other people display books or ceramics—as an object that deserves its own dedicated spot. The aluminum is polished by hand to a finish that catches light without glare, and the proportions are sized to cradle standard bar packaging securely upright.

The four bars inside are each made from a different single-origin cacao, so every piece tastes distinct. You taste the fruit-forward brightness of one origin, then the nutty depth of another.
