Crosswing Side Mount Kit

This kit moves your Crosswing awning from the top of a roof rack to the side rail, freeing up space above for a roof tent or dropping the overall profile to clear a garage door. You get brackets, hardware, and mounting plates that bolt directly to the rack's side channels, plus the option to angle the awning flat, twelve and a half degrees up, or twelve and a half degrees down to match the slope of your vehicle or campsite.

The bracket design provides several attachment points along its length, so you can work around existing crossbars, accessories, or the footprint of a tent platform. If your rack uses a t-slot channel, the included plates slide in and lock down. If it doesn't, you can pair this kit with the clamp plates that ship with the Crosswing itself for a no-drill installation on round or square bars.

Side mounting keeps the awning tucked under a roof tent instead of competing for the same real estate. It also lowers the packed height by several inches, which matters if you measure your vehicle against the garage header every time you pull in. The angle adjustment accounts for vehicles with factory roof rails that sit at a slight tilt, or for leveling the shade when parked on uneven ground.

The kit includes all fasteners and plates needed to attach one Crosswing awning to a side rail. You'll need the Crosswing awning itself, sold separately, and a compatible roof rack with accessible side channels or crossbars.
