Kammok

Greg McEvilly founded Kammok in 2010 after falling through a hammock on his first camping trip. Frustrated by the lack of durable equipment on the market, he set out to build a stronger alternative and designed the Roo Double hammock as the company's first product.

The brand now makes hammocks, shelters, blankets, awning systems, and portable chairs, backed by a lifetime warranty. In 2025 Kammok merged with CLIQ to add collapsible chairs to its lineup. Since 2011 the company has donated one percent of revenue to environmental nonprofits, contributing over $100,000 to Explore Austin. Kammok is certified by B Corporation and Climate Neutral and builds products using recycled materials where possible.
