This commemorative folding knife marks the 2022 Tour de France with graphics created by Matthieu Lifschitz of 200 Magazine, a French cycling publication. Two design variants capture different aspects of the legendary race, both applied to the classic Opinel No.08 frame through sublimation printing.

The "Les Maillots" design honors the three competition leader jerseys: yellow for the overall leader, green for the top sprinter, and red polka dot for the strongest climber. These iconic colors appear across the knife handle in their traditional patterns, immediately recognizable to anyone who follows professional road racing. This version arrives in a blue gift box with an official Tour de France sticker.

The "Landmarks" variant tells the race story through imagery. The Arc de Triomphe and Mont Ventoux—the finish-line monument and the most feared mountain stage—share space with abstract graphics representing water, rain, and the mist that rolls across French mountain passes. A yellow leather lanyard references the maillot jaune, the most coveted jersey in cycling. This edition comes in a kraft paper sleeve with official race branding.

Both knives use the No.08 size, a middle-ground format that folds small enough for daily pocket carry while offering a useful blade length. The stainless steel blade locks open with Opinel's rotating Virobloc collar.
