Roll-Top Food Bag

When you're miles from the trailhead, keeping food secure from animals and weather isn't optional. This roll-top bag uses Dyneema® Composite Fabric to create a barrier that weighs almost nothing yet holds up trip after trip. The construction centers on fully sealed seams and a magnetic closure system that works with side-release buckles to lock out moisture and odors.

Two integrated O-rings sit at the top, positioned for central suspension when you need to hang your food at night. The design assumes you're using a throw bag or similar method to get the bag into a tree, and the rings distribute weight evenly so the bag hangs stable even when packed full. The roll-top itself compresses down when you have less inside, or opens wide to fit bulkier items like bread or a bag of trail mix.

Dyneema® Composite Fabric resists tears and punctures without adding the weight of coated nylon or canvas. The material sheds rain on the outside while the taped seams prevent water from sneaking through stitch holes. You can set this bag down in wet grass or pack it while it's still damp from morning dew without worrying about what's inside getting soggy.

The magnetic strip inside the roll-top helps align the closure as you roll, so you don't have to fuss with it in the dark or when your hands are cold. Once rolled, the side-release buckles clip over the top to keep everything compressed and secure during the hike. Available in two volumes to match how much food you're carrying: the smaller size suits overnight trips, while the larger holds enough for several days between resupply points.
