The details

If you carry a Leatherman on your belt in a sheath, you already know the ritual: unbuckle, thread, re-buckle every morning, then reverse it at night. This replacement clip bolts onto the lanyard ring position on your Wave Plus, Wave Alpha, Charge family, or Surge multi-tool and lets you slide the whole assembly into a pocket or waistband without threading anything through leather.

The clip uses a spring-loaded release mechanism. Squeeze the tab and the tool comes free in one motion. The mount is drilled for engraving if you want to add initials or a short line of text through Leatherman's custom shop.

Four finish options let you match the clip to your tool or to your carry rotation. Stainless steel has the raw metal look of the original multi-tool bodies. Black PVD and brass PVD offer coated surfaces that resist scratches and wear. Matte silver splits the difference between polished and subdued.

The clip replaces the lanyard ring entirely, so if you prefer to keep a cord or split ring attached, you will need to choose one method or the other.
