Glossy White Cerakote Pen and Tool Collection in Seven Body Styles
Most limited-edition pens stop at a single model or colorway variation. This run gives you the same finish across an entire ecosystem—rollerballs in two weights, pocket pens with or without clips, a mechanical pencil, and a utility blade—so you can match tools to task without breaking the visual theme. If you carry more than one writing instrument or want your blade to share the same aesthetic as your pen, this is the rare chance to build a set that actually looks like a set. The Cerakote coating also outlasts anodizing in scratch and chip resistance, so the glossy white stays intact longer than paint or plating would.
Good gift when
- Collectors who want matching tools across writing and cutting tasks
- People who prefer high-gloss finishes over matte or brushed metal
- Anyone building a coordinated desk or everyday-carry set
- Fans of Studio Neat's mechanisms looking for a standout colorway
Skip it if Most precision pens come in subdued finishes—matte, brushed, or raw metal—that blend into pockets and bags. This release goes the opposite direction, applying a high-gloss white coating that catches light and draws attention every time you set it down.

The details
This numbered release applies a glossy white Cerakote finish to Studio Neat's entire precision pen and blade lineup, creating matching pieces that stand out from the usual metal tones. The ceramic-based coating delivers a smooth, durable shell over each body, while black PVD stainless steel clips, tips, and accents provide contrast.
You choose from seven configurations. Mark One is a clicky rollerball mechanism in standard weight. Mark One Steel doubles that mass for a heavier feel, available with or without a pocket clip. Mark Two shrinks to pocket-pen proportions, also offered with or without a clip. Mark Three shifts to a mechanical pencil mechanism. Keen swaps writing for cutting, housing a replaceable utility blade in the same glossy white form factor.
Each version shares the same gloss-white exterior treatment and black hardware palette, so mixing models across a collection or desk drawer maintains visual consistency. The Cerakote layer resists chips and scratches better than anodizing, keeping the finish intact through daily carry and use.
Studio Neat manufactures these in limited quantity with no plans to reproduce the colorway once the batch sells through, making this the only production window for the glossy white and black combination.
Studio Neat's 019 run pairs high-gloss ceramic coating with black PVD hardware across five writing instruments and a utility blade

Questions
- What is Cerakote and how does it hold up?
- Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating originally developed for firearms. It bonds to metal at high temperature, creating a shell that resists scratches, chips, and solvent damage better than anodizing or powder coating. The glossy finish stays smooth through pocket carry, though it will show fingerprints and smudges more readily than matte surfaces.
- Can I buy refills for the pens after the limited edition sells out?
- Yes. The pen mechanisms and refill standards remain the same across all Studio Neat models, so you can continue using standard rollerball or mechanical pencil refills long after this colorway is discontinued. Only the exterior finish is unique to this batch.
- What is the difference between Mark One and Mark One Steel?
- Mark One Steel doubles the weight of the standard Mark One by using denser materials. Both use the same clicky rollerball mechanism, but the Steel version offers more heft and balance for people who prefer a heavier writing feel. The Steel version is also available with or without a pocket clip.
- Does Keen use proprietary blades or standard utility blades?
- Keen accepts standard replaceable utility blades, the same ones found in hardware stores and workbenches. You are not locked into a custom blade format, so consumables remain inexpensive and widely available.
- Will this finish chip if I drop it?
- Cerakote resists most scratches and everyday abrasion, but a hard drop onto concrete or tile can still chip the coating at impact points. It is tougher than anodizing or paint, but no finish is completely immune to sharp impacts.
