The system can distinguish up to ten individual cats. When one approaches, the camera recognizes them, records the meal through HD video, and tallies the portion eaten. You review the data by pet, so you know whether the kitten is stealing the senior's food or whether the shy one is actually eating enough.

Scheduled dispensing keeps portions consistent and prevents free-feeding chaos. The feeder operates on a programmed timetable, and the camera captures each visit so you can verify who showed up and what they took. Because tracking is visual rather than collar-based, it works for cats who pull off tags, scratch at breakaway collars, or simply refuse to wear them.
