Why it's on GiftsFeed

Collectible trading cards celebrating makers and personalities in the knife world

Most trading cards celebrate athletes or pop-culture icons you'll never meet. These focus on a community that actually gathers—at blade shows, knife meets, and collector events where you can get signatures in person. If you're the kind of person who knows the difference between a Caswell and a McNees, or who travels to shows in Atlanta or elsewhere, these give you something to carry, trade, and get signed that isn't a fifty-dollar pocket tool. The holographic finish and custom artwork make them feel like collectibles rather than business cards, and the protective sleeves mean you can actually handle them without worry.

Good gift when

  • Collectors who attend blade shows and knife events regularly
  • People who recognize the names behind the knives they carry
  • Anyone who enjoys trading and signing rituals from card culture

Skip it if If you're not familiar with the makers featured or don't attend events where you'd encounter them, these will feel like inside baseball rather than a collectible worth chasing.

The details

This set brings the ritual of trading cards into the world of knives, tools, and everyday carry. Each of the nine holographic cards features a maker, designer, or figure from the blade-show circuit—people who craft knives, leather goods, and accessories that collectors actually use and trade.

The cards themselves use ecofoil holographic cardstock, which catches light the way vintage sports cards did. Custom illustrations give each figure their own visual treatment, and every card comes with both a rigid protector and a soft sleeve so you can store them however you prefer.

This fourth edition includes eight personality cards—covering knife makers from Chris Reeve Knives, Pro Tech, Caswell, McNees, and T.Kell, along with a leatherworker from Chattanooga Leather Works, the founder of KeyBar, and Captain Rikki—plus a commemorative card for Blade Show Atlanta 2026. The set is a limited production run, so once this batch sells through, it's done.

Questions

Can I get these cards signed by the people featured?
Many of the makers and personalities on these cards attend blade shows and EDC events throughout the year, so there's a strong chance you can bring the cards to a show and get signatures in person if the featured person is exhibiting or attending.
Are these actual trading cards or promotional materials?
These are full trading cards with custom artwork and holographic cardstock, designed to be collected, traded, and signed like classic sports cards. They're not business cards or promotional flyers.
Will there be more sets after this fourth edition?
Each edition is a limited run. Past sets have sold out and not restocked, so if you want the fourth edition specifically, it's best to assume it won't be available again once inventory is gone.
Do the protective sleeves fit standard binders?
The cards are standard trading-card size at 2.5 by 3.5 inches, so both the hard and soft sleeves will fit into typical nine-pocket card binder pages used for sports cards or other collectibles.
