Eunice and Dave founded Material Kitchen to design culinary tools that reflect the food traditions of their Korean and Vietnamese families, where cooking served as a way to share culture and express care. Both grew up in homes where meals connected people, and they built the company to honor those everyday rituals with products engineered for repeated use.

The brand designs all of its kitchenware in-house, backing every piece with a lifetime guarantee. Their catalog includes copper-core cookware, knives built from handle to blade with performance in mind, and tableware made from recycled plastic and sustainably sourced wood. Since launching in 2018, they have donated more than $184,000 through partnerships with organizations supporting underserved communities, including Heart of Dinner, Drive Change, and Apex for Youth.
