Dagne Dover

Three women launched Dagne Dover in 2013 with a focus on making functional bags for busy lives. Co-founder Jessy Dover is one of the trio behind the New York City operation, which builds totes, backpacks, slings, and organizers designed to stay neat and hold up under daily use.

The company lines its bags with Repreve recycled material made from plastic bottles and offers a number of fully vegan styles. Excess scrap at the factory goes to sampling rather than landfill. Through a partnership with Archive, they run a resale program for secondhand pieces, and surplus inventory gets donated to organizations like Shelter Partnership. Products undergo AZO testing to screen for hazardous dye chemicals and Proposition 65 compliance to keep formulations non-toxic.
