Barefoot Dreams

Annette Cook launched this line in 1994 after drawing inspiration from her three sons, starting with children's products made from soft flannels, satins, and knits in calming colors. When she died in 2012, her husband Stan took over and expanded the company into its current form, focusing on blankets, throws, loungewear, and apparel for all ages.

The brand's products now appear in five-star resorts, spas, and upscale retailers worldwide. They operate two retail stores in their home base of Malibu, the first opening in 2020. A portion of proceeds from their Covered in Prayer collection funds colon cancer research through The WunderGlo Foundation, and they also support Operation Smile and Heal the Bay.
