Atlas Coffee Club

Coffee subscriptions sourced directly from farms across five continents

Atlas Coffee Club sources beans directly from farms in countries including Nicaragua, India, Guatemala, Brazil, and Burundi. Rather than simply buying at market rates, they provide advance payments to partner farms—a practice that has increased profits by 50% for two Nicaraguan operations by helping them avoid high-interest loans. In India, they worked with Riverdale Estates to apply anaerobic fermentation to under-ripe cherries, turning what would have been waste into a revenue stream.

The company purchases only beans that score multiple points above the Specialty Coffee Association's 80-point threshold for specialty-grade coffee. They pack their products in fully recycled materials and have been recognized by Bon Appétit, The New York Times, Food & Wine, and Good Housekeeping for their sourcing model and for producing what the latter called the first quality Keurig-compatible pod.
